The information that you are providing to the Center to request assistance is confidential. However, submitting the Intake Worksheet and requesting assistance does not establish an attorney/client relationship.
While we do not have the resources to provide individual legal representation to every caller, we are truly committed in providing accurate disability-related legal information and advice to more individuals who need our services and assistance. In addition to limited legal representation, our goal is to provide efficient, streamlined services to educate people with disabilities and their family members on how to enforce their legal rights through self advocacy. Our self advocacy guides and other disability-related documents can be found on this website by selecting the Self-Advocacy Materials button from our home page.
Some problems can be resolved over the telephone, while others require the help of an advocate or lawyer. Demand for legal assistance greatly exceeds our available staff. Assistance is only provided for disability-related issues in established priority areas. The Center does not charge for services.

If you are contacting ACDL about an individual with a disability other than yourself, we ask you to have the individual contact us directly, unless you are:
- The parent of a minor child
- The guardian
- Other authorized representative
Thank you for contacting Arizona Center for Disability Law. Please note, ACDL will not be taking any new intakes from November 22, 2021, through November 28, 2021, for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on November 29, 2021.
If you need help with a legal issue during this time frame, please contact the State Bar of Arizona at: https://azbar.legalserviceslink.com/ to use the Find a Lawyer program. You may also go online to AZ Law Help or call them at 866-637-5341 to apply for free or low-cost legal help. ACDL will re-open for intakes on November 22. Any web intakes received during the week-long closure will not be processed. To request help, you must submit an intake on or after November 29, 2021.
