Raffle to Benefit the Arizona Center for Disability Law

To celebrate 36 years in Tucson, the Jim Click Automotive Team is presenting a brand new 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt to Tucson nonprofits to raffle off.  Only 50,000 raffle tickets will be sold.  Tickets are $25 each (5 for $100).

The Arizona Center for Disability Law will be participating in the raffle to raise money to support the critical legal and advocacy services we provide to individuals with disabilities.  100% of our ticket sales will be retained by the Arizona Center for Disability Law.

Click here to print out a ticket order form.  You can also call Lorraine Freyer toll-free at 1-800-922-1447, ext. 13 (in Tucson dial (520) 327-9547, ext. 13) and order tickets over the phone with your credit card.  We will mail your raffle tickets once your order is received.

The drawing will be held in Tucson on February 18, 2008.  Entries must be received by February 11, 2008.  The winner does not need to be present to win.

Remember, 100% of our ticket sales will be retained by the Arizona Center for Disability Law to support our legal and advocacy services.

DONATIONS
The Arizona Center for Disability Law is funded through federal protection and advocacy grants, other grants, attorneys' fees and private donations. Like most non-profit organizations resources are often scarce and the demand for our services grows every year. We rely on donations from people like you to further our work.

All donations to the Center are tax deductible. If you would like to donate to the Center, please send your check made out to "The Arizona Center for Disability Law" to: The Arizona Center for Disability Law, 3839 N. 3rd St, Suite 209, Phoenix, AZ 85012.

STATE INCOME TAX CREDIT FOR DONATIONS TO THE WORKING POOR

The Arizona Center for Disability Law has been certified by the Arizona Department of Revenue as a Qualifying Charitable Organization for providing assistance to the working poor.  This now allows taxpayers to make a cash donation to our organization prior to December 31, 2007 and be eligible to receive a dollar for dollar Arizona State Tax Credit of up to $200 for single taxpayers or $400 for married taxpayers on their 2007 state income tax.

To be eligible for this credit, you must have itemized deductions and deducted the charitable contributions on a prior year’s Arizona tax return (1996 or later.)  The tax credit is in lieu of a deduction on the Arizona return; however, it remains an itemized deduction of the Federal tax return, if the taxpayer is itemizing deductions.

Please contact us for more information or visit the Arizona Department of Revenue website:

STATE OF ARIZONA EMPLOYEES CHARITABLE CAMPAIGN (SECC)

The Arizona Center for Disability Law will be listed as a participant in the 2007 State Employees Charitable Campaign.  Last year campaign funds are raised by over 45,000 State Employees, in support of over 600 charitable agencies.  We appreciate and encourage State of Arizona Employees’ generous contributions to our organization so that we may continue our service to the disabled community in Arizona.
